Georgie was born in Calgary, Canada but he was raised in his family's native country Greece. He grew up in Larissa, the Thessalian capital city in the valley below mount Olympus. After graduating from high school he studied Accounting in trade school and served in the Armed Forces of Greece. He then went on to work in and eventually manage his family business for many years.
From a young age, Georgie found both refuge and inspiration in cinema. It is estimated he watched over 8,000 movies by the time he was 18. Film was not only a retreat but also a method to learn English.
In 2006, he moved to Canada to follow his yearning for acting and filmmaking.
After graduating with honors from the acting program at William Davis Centre at Vanarts, Georgie has been in a relentless pursuit of honing the craft of creative and truthful storytelling. Based in Vancouver, he has worked on numerous lead and principal roles in independent feature films, TV shows and short films.
He is proud to have dual citizenship, Canadian and Greek making him eligible to work both in Canada and the European Union.
